Payment Methods
Mojo Car Rental accepts Mastercard and Visa credit, and charge cards. The card being used needs to be in the name of the renter.
A charge card should exhibit the follows characteristics:
- The card must display a Mastercard or Visa logo.
- The customer name must be embossed on the card.
- The number must be raised on the card as on a credit card.
- Mojo car rental will process charge cards in the same manner as Credit card rentals.
Cancellations and Refunds
If the user wishes to cancel his / her reservation prior to taking possession of the vehicle, the client should contact Mojo Car Rental in writing by sending an e-mail to customerservice@mojocarrental.com. Phone cancellations will not be accepted.
The cancellation of a reservation means that the user is also cancelling any additional services that they have reserved. If the renter cancels 48 hours or more before the rental is due to start, the deposit paid will be refunded in full; If the user cancels within less than 48 hours before the pick-up a R500 cancellation penalty will be applicable and be deducted from the pre-authorised deposit amount. The balance of the deposit will be refunded to the client within 48 hours of receiving the cancellation request.
Deposits and Refunds
Before collection the rental vehicle, Mojo Car Rental will process a deposit based on the Vehicle type and rental period. At the end of the rental period the deposit less any additional expenses or costs, as stipulated in the car rental contract, will be refunded to the original card from which the deposit was deducted, or pre-authorised.
Deposit Refund Process at end of rental period
The deposit will be refunded within 7 days of return of the rental vehicle.
